A
brief description of the holes |
The
opening hole with out of bounds down both the left and right requires an
accurate tee shot, with the green protected by a bunker on the front
left hand corner to catch
under clubbed shots. |
All
that you see from the tee will be the top of the flag, beware!! You will
have the option to either fly the ball in all the way or "punch and run"
it in. The green is guarded by a severe slope behind - up and down from there will prove difficult. |
A
long thin green where clubbing can vary dependent upon the pin
placement. Again you can either fly the ball in or run it in off the
bank on the right but don't go left as the slope will take you further
away from the green. |
The
longest and most difficult hole. Out of bounds all the way up the right
hand and with a bunker on the right of the green means that a slice is
not the shot. With the hole playing slightly uphill the shot will be
mostly all carry. |
An uphill tee
shot which requires the ball to fly all the way. Whatever the yardage of the day says, add on
another two clubs to ensure that you get there. |
A bunker on the right hand side of the entrance to the green, together
with the copse to the right, will
catch many a sliced shot and an over hit shot will leave you with a very
difficult up and down. |
The
shortest hole but still a potential card wrecker. The option will be to
either fly the ball in or try to run it in off the bank on the right -
beware - a bunker awaits up the right for the under hit tee shot. |
A
short uphill hole with a deceptively long green, where an under clubbed
shot will leave you with an exceptionally long putt. |
Nearly home, but concentration is needed to eliminate the forty feet of
green by good club selection. Beware not to miss the green on the left
as the bank and bunker will leave you with a difficult up and down. |
